Working with SOWMA

For my Bat Mitzvah in June I did a project connected with School on Wheels of Massachusetts (SOWMA). SOWMA is an organization that helps kids affected by homelessness in school and at home. I decided I like to join my love of sewing, learning, and helping children in need. I did a buy one, give one where some one would buy a pillowcase and I would donate one to SOWMA in return.
Recently I had the opportunity to hand deliver the pillowcases to children around Massachusetts. It was a truly amazing experience getting to see the kids react when they opened them up!
I will continue working with them this fall trying to add pillowcases to some of the many backpacks they give out to school children each year. I would appreciate your support in working to make more pillowcases! You can donate gift cards or fabric as well as purchase a pillowcase!
Thank you for your support!
