I had the opportunity to visit a local designer's work room for her company. She works mostly with leather to make purses and other accessories. I learned about the process of creating a wrap bracelet out of leather and studs.
1. Pick a piece of leather
2. Pick a die to cut out desired shape, a long strip die is used for bracelets
3. Use a machine that presses down on the die and leather to cut out the shape of the die
4. Trim the extra threads off of the sides of the leather strip
5. Use special glue to seal the raw edges of the strip
6. Use special tool to punch holes about one inch apart on the strip
7. Add a snap closure to the ends and desired studs to the middle
8. Wear and enjoy your cool new bracelet!
